SEMANTIC MEANINGS EXPRESSED BY THE CONDITIONAL FORM OF THE VERB IN TURKISH LANGUAGES

Abstract

The science of linguistics is interested in the semantic side of linguistic facts, the structural and semantic study of various linguistic units. The purpose of our study is to determine the semantic relations expressed by the conditional form of the verb on the materials of the Turkic languages. The material for the study was taken from ancient monuments, small folklore genres belonging to the Turkic languages. The study used methods of linguistic description, modeling and transformational analysis. It is determined that the time-causal relationship is most pronounced in the forms of the conditional form of the verb, which is a special means of conditional expressiveness, structural - semantic conditional relationships are actively manifested by time and cause-and-effect relationship.
