STUDY OF SPECIFIC FEATURES OF THE RESPIRATORY SYSTEM IN ATHLETES ENGAGED IN NON-PERIODIC SPORTS

Abstract

The article deals with the specific features of the changes caused by movement exercises performed in gymnastics, a non-periodic sport, in different parts of the respiratory system. From the indicators of the respiratory system: density, vital capacity of the lungs, the degree of oxygen saturation of the blood, the maximum oxygen consumption, and from the indicators of the cardiovascular system were measured pulse and arterial blood pressure. It has been found that in gymnastics, due to the performance characteristics of the movement technique, the involvement of the intercostal muscles in the movement complicates their role in the respiratory process, breathing is carried out mainly at the expense of the diaphragm. Respiration maintenance, on the other hand, is relatively short in grade athletes, and its maintenance occurs during the transition from dynamic to static work during muscle expenditure. In the field of activation of both abnormal and normal regulation of the respiratory process in gymnasts, the process of elimination of oxygen debt and oxygen supply is accelerated.
