In recent years, the application of navigation systems in unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) has developed rapidly, as in all fields. The application of modern radioelectronic combat systems (REM) against UAVs in the 44-day Second Karabakh and Russia-Ukraine wars makes the further improvement of navigation systems urgent. UAVs need reliable navigation systems to determine and track the exact coordinates of targets. Navigation systems must be stable and accurate for all phases of flight. At the same time, they should also allow obtaining the distance to the destination and the exact coordinates of the detected targets. As a result of the research, it is known that in recent wars, the application of UAVs with stable navigation systems is more effective. It also allows commanders to make the right decisions and keep the battlefield under constant surveillance, leading to immediate destruction of important targets. UAVs that cost ten times more, are equipped with more payloads and weapon systems, but transmit completely wrong coordinates during REM application, and even lose control and fly in different directions, do not justify the trust, and as a result, due to improper planning, numerous personnel losses and or leads to defeat. Therefore, it is very important to carry out combat missions with UAVs that have stable navigation systems in all phases of war.
