This article classifies of exercises with a hoop in accordance with several principles, the main of which is based on learning from simple to complex. A list of exercises that can be successfully used for trainings with junior and senior athletes is explained, and basic methodological guidelines are given for their implementation. This article presents exercises to help the coach to understand the training methodology, the way to perform, and the mistakes in performing these exercises. These exercises will help the coach to find his own method of training, based on the above principle, which will help gymnasts to master the technique of exercises faster and easier.
The mistakes that are listed in this classification are the main ones. When this mistakes are eliminated, the technique of working with the hoop will be improved.
Accordingly, the quality of performance of these elements will facilitate to high result in competitions and error-free execution of exercises with apparatus. Competition rules impose increased demands on the technical difficulty of the compositions. In order to successfully meet these challenges, a solid foundation of gymnasts' motor potential is necessary. The variety of these exercises and their varying degrees of coordination complexity allow us to use them as examples to creatively select and build a set of exercises depending on the objectives and content of a training section lesson. The example given in this article will help the trainer to apply his knowledge and skills correctly in practice.
