Nowadays, the Communicative Approach is among the most popular methods used in teaching English as a second language. The Communicative Approach focuses on development of all main skills. In comparison with Grammar Translation Approach here fluency is more important than accuracy. This method has both advantages and disadvantages. The appropriate blending of traditional methods of teaching with the latest approaches and integration of technologies into the process of teaching will bring creativity to a classroom and motivate students.
