IMPORTANCE OF STRUCTURAL REFORMS IN REGIONAL GOVERNANCE (ON THE EXAMPLE OF SHAKI-ZAGATALA ECONOMIC REGION)

Abstract

The study discuesses the elements of administrative and political decen-tralization of the structure of local municipa-lities in Azerbaijan, as well as the form of im-plementation of governance by local authori-ties in the regions. At the same time, the prin-ciple of management of the muncipalities and their governance effectiveness are also explained on the example of Sheki-Zakatala economic region.
