ELITE GENRE OF SPORTS JOURNALISM – COMMENTARY
Abstract
One of the least studied areas of sports journalism is sports commentary. Nonetheless, commentary is one of the most widely used and loved genres in sports journalism. Sports commentary is mainly used within other genres. This analytical genre differs depending on the stage of development, the media, as well as the type of sport and has its own characteristics. Our article analyzes comments in electronic media and highlights the types of comments, structure and features of commenting.
