MUTUAL RELATIONSHIP IN SPORTS TEAMS

Abstract

Knowing the socio-psychological base of the formation of relationships, the emergence and normalization of conflict situations, managing a sports team helps a coach to make an activity of the whole team more effective.

It must be noted that there is little factual material while looking at the relationship from the point of view of its factors. However, our research will stimulate more intensive and comprehensive researches without hindering a detailed discussion of this problem. It must now be acknowledged that coaches are indebted especially to psychologists working in the field of sports social psychology. The increase in results in sports competitions is currently achieved with great excitement and energy. This applies not only to the athlete, but also to the coach and teammates. When relations in the team become tense, the socio-psychological climate is fraught with conflicts, mutual claims happen, and so on. It is characterized as getting more difficult. The purpose of the social psychology of sports as an applied science is to find its place and role in solving this problem.

Based on the analysis, a scheme of self-education of the athlete was developed, and the coach was given suggestions on the educational work and the normalization of relations between the members of the sports team.
