Five actual genres in sports journalism

Abstract

The main purpose of our article is to look at the genres of sports journalism, which are currently being widely used in the sports media, from an angle of sports information. In order to achieve this goal, the most current 5 sports genres - news, interviews, comment, discussion and conversations - have been explored and discovered aspects that differentiate them from the universal journalism. So that, information, analysis and journalist's personal opinion in universal journalism are presented separately, within different genres. In the mass sports communication, the common presentation format of the material changes, synthesis occurs, and even it becomes complicated to distinguish a specific genre. The facts in the material are enriched by analyzes and comments, and gives an extensive place for interesting expressions and individual styles.
