THE FİRST EUROPEAN GAMES İN BAKU - AN İMPORTANT STEP İN THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE OLYMPİC MOVEMENT İN AZERBAİJAN

Abstract

The article emphasizes that the first European Games in Baku are considered as an important step in the development of the Olympic movement in Azerbaijan.The analysis allows to state the high level of organization of the 1st European Games to be held in Baku in 2015, as well as the rich sports program and the high level of specific wrestling.All the actions carried out for the organization and holding of the games, their indicators and results created a foundation for their tangible and intangible heritage.All this, of course, is important for the further development of the Olympic movement in Azerbaijan, Europe and the world in general.
