Abstract

The main goal of teaching foreign languages ​​is the formation and development of communicative competence in foreign language learners. In our modern era, teachers of higher schools are faced not only with the formation of scientific knowledge among students, but also with the development of their individual thinking abilities and intercultural worldviews. The article reflects the aspects and principles of the formation of communicative competence in teaching foreign languages, the ways of proper socialization of students in society.
