OUR ANCIENT AND NATIONAL KIND OF SPORT ZOORKHANEH IN THE MODERN AGE

Abstract

Zoorkhaneh is our ancient and national sport, our national value. The word Zoorkhaneh means "house of power", "a place where strength is shown". In ancient times, this sport was of interest for the training of warriors, because each of the tools and movements in it represents a combat action, and each tool reflects a weapon. Thus, Zoorkhaneh came to us as a sport. It is currently spreading all over the world. Now competitions are held in 3 directions as a sport: team exercises, individual skills and pahlevani wrestling.
