APPLICATION AND FORECASTING OF REGRESSION EQUATIONS IN THE ASSESSMENT OF SCIENTIFIC KNOWLEDGE
Abstract
The study establishes a regression equation based on the results of examinations in the subject "Mathematics" of 10 randomly selected students studying in the speciality "Coach" at Azerbaijan State Academy of Physical Education and Sport in the 2020-2021 academic year.
To evaluate the quality of the regression equation, a standard forecast error is calculated. Based on the analysis of the calculated results, it is decided that the established regression equation is useful for predicting students' exam results.
