Abstract

The basis of every mental process is the activity of the human brain. Like other mental processes, the physiological basis of emotional states and feelings is related to the nervous processes in the brain. The formation and control of feelings and emotions are part of the function of the autonomic nervous system. In particular, the neural processes that take place in the subcortical areas of the brain play a very important role in the formation of sensations. This area regulates the respiratory process, heartbeat, pulse, blood supply to various parts of the body, temperature, and the activity of certain organs and secretory glands. Therefore, the occurrence of any feeling results in a certain change in the relevant members.
