THE EFFECT OF NUTRITION ON ORGANISM BEFORE AND AFTER EXERCISES

Abstract

The question of when is it better to exercise, on an empty stomach or after eating, has always been controversial. It is used to be that exercise done on an empty stomach was more beneficial than after a meal. But recent studies show the opposite. So, while doing sports on an empty stomach, the body cannot use fats due to low glycogen levels. Instead, the body uses the protein found in the muscles, which leads to the loss of muscle mass.
